Eating For Good Health

Assalamu'alaikum & Salam Sejahtera..

“….living into a ripe age is meaningless, if it is not accompanied by good health… It is estimated that over 60% of those above 40 have at least one chronic medical problem  that require treatment. By the age of 60, at least 60% are already on some regular drug medication…The aim should be to increase the duration of healthy life. Even if you do not live long, if you live life to the fullest, made possible with good health as a key requirement, then it is better than living day-to day as a burden to yourself, your spouse and family and to society, which would be the case if you have a chronic disease.”
(Dr. Amir Farid Isahak, 2007)

“….my health is my responsibility;…foods and nutrition are the primary options for self-help in health.”
(Udo Erasmus, 1993)

“Don’t expect the FDA, your doctor, or anyone else to take full responsibility for your health. The most important person in protecting your health…is you.”
(Ray Strand, 2003)

Possible couses of poor health
Poor health/illness :-

·               Too much acidic food & drinks
·               Over dependence on medicine
·               Lack of exercise
·               Smoking
·               Genetics
·               Sexual misconduct
·               Lack of filial piety
·               Doing bad deeds
·               Polluted environment
Health food is not a sophisticated sphere of knowledge as thought by many. A gradual approach may be adopted in switching to health food. The change should be done in accordance to your pace and food preference. As long as we are willing to learn, recognize the true faces of food, let go of all forms of toxid food and gradually replace them with vegetables, fruits and grains, all of us have a higher chance of reclaiming our health, keeping illnesses and diseases at bay.
Medical expense is a burden to many families. You may wish to invest in health food to avoid diseases and illnesses.
“Our chemotherapy is aimed at destruction of the tumor, and it is recognized that chemotherapies destroy many living cells, and the entire person. Anything that disturbs growth is fatal because growth, as elementary life function, is part of the life process of man. We cannot achieve something good with bad tools.”
(Dr. Johanna Budwig, 2005)

“…no doubt that nutrition trumped chemical carcinogens, even very potent carcinogens, in controlling cancer…Low protein diets inhibited the initiation of cancer by aflatoxin…In fact, dietry protein proved to be so powerful in effect that we could turn on and off cancer growth simply by changing the level consumed.
(Campbell & Campbell, 2006)

“As a practicing physician for over fifty years, I have reached three basic conclusions as to the couse and cure of disease. The first is that the primary caused of disease is not germs. Rather, disease is caused by a toxemia which results in cellular impairment and breakdown, thus paving the way for the multiplication and onslaught of germs. My second conclusions is that in almost all cases the use of drugs in treating patients is harmful. Drugs often cause serious side effects and sometimes even create new diseases. The dubious benefits they afford the patient are at best temporary. My third conclusion is that disease can be cured through the proper use of correct foods”.
(Dr. Henry Bieler, 1965)
